Plugin PiMotion

General

After downloading the plugin , simple copy the file pimotion.hxt into the HXT directory your desired A:M installation .
The plugin was originally designed as a working relief for me , and therefor raises far no claim to completness or accuracy, however it is freeware .

Description

This plugin is designed to export the motionpath from a selected object to import this path in particle illusion.

Use

The plugin starts with a selected choreographie with RMB->Plug-ins->Export->PI-Motion, afterwards the following dialogue is indicated.
Gui

- Camera
Here the camera is selected, from their view the motionpath is to be exported.
Width/Height - those are the defaults for the resolution, which will be exported, this values are used from the selected camera, however this can be with own values overwritten.
Startframe/Endframe - these are the defaults for the length of the animation which will be exported, this values are used from the selected camera, however this can be with own values overwritten.

- Tracking object
Here the object is selected, from which the motionpath is to be produced. These are all objecte except cameras.
Model pivot
Here the pivot of the selected objects is used as trackingpoint.
modelpivot
Raw model centers
Here the center from all CP's of the models is computed and used as trackingpoint.
Only with models selectablly.
Functioned correctly only if the model is animated by keyframes.

Bones
Bones can be used over a small detour as trackingpoint. Add a nullobject to the choreographie and binds these with a constraint "Translate to" to the bone which you will track.
Now can you simply use this nullobject as trackingobject. This functions also with dynamic bones or bones, whose movements are steered by the parentbones.
Example project (it two nullobjects were used to be able to track the left and right hand)
 bonestrack
The pictures are snapshots from Particel illusion, whereby the motionpath was already imported (small grey points), as background became are a wireframemovie of the animation used. The first 3 examples are of the same Choregraphie , it only different trackingpoints were used.

- Save as
File dialogue for the name and path of the text file which will be produced.
