Plugin Transfer_AW

General

After downloading the plugin , simple copy the file Transfer_AW.hxt into the HXT directory your A:M installation .
The plugin was originally designed as a working relief for me , and therefor raises far no claim to completeness or accuracy, however it is free .

Description

This plugin copies the bone assignment and weighting (recalculated) from lores groups to the associated hires groups . Yes it does the same as "Weightmover" from Anzovin Studios .
But now as plugin and for A:M V13 and higher . It's a good idea to read your "Weightmover" documentation as reference, I can not better describe the process .

Use

In Action Transfer_AW in action

Select a model and start the plugin. The model must have one or more groups with the naming convention "lo-" and correspond ending "hi-" and optional "no-flex" groups.
For each "lo-" group the bone assignment and weighting is transfered to the matching "hi-" group .
Now you get a dialog .

The values are similar to "Weightmover"
- Lores cp's for each hires cp (bone assignment and weighting)
From how many lores cp's the hires cp should be calculated , range 1-16
- Smooth with hires cp's (only weighting)
From how many hires neighbors the hires cp weighting should be calculated , range 1-16
- Smooth factor
the factor for averaging the weighting for the "hi-" res cp's
- Number of smooth passes
How many times the smooth pass should repeated .More passes gives a more equal (smoother) result for the cp weightings, as you can see in the next table .

- alternate hires distance calculation
In general , the neighbors for the cp's are calculated by their distance to the cp , they should influence . There are two way's to calculate this cp's . This gives a different result .
along splines
Checkbox is not checked . Only neighbors (red circle) on the crossing splines (green) are used, equal if other cp's are nearer .
pure distance
Checkbox is checked . Only the nearest cp's are used for the smooth pass , equal on which splines they are .
