Examples for NewtonPhysics Plugin


Here are some examples for the Newtonphysics plugin for A:M . To view the movies , simple click on the pictures . All movies are quicktime sorensen3 compressed. The zip compressed archivers for the projectfiles includes always the unsimulated and the simulated version from the projectfiles.

chain demonstrate using the "Newton_" groups in the right way (for the ring) , have a look into chain_sim.prj to see how I have assigned the groups to the ring and the resulting collision hulls (shull_ring)

craddle a craddle , based only on physic , no joints are used (thatswhy the energy is fast loss in this example), only for demonstratiing the ability to do this , normaly I suggest to use joints in such a case

scaleup the chains in this example are very small, thatswhy the chor propertie "Scale world up" set to "On" is needed , to prevent the chains from breaking
